Inosine - It is a naturally (endogenous) compound - nucleoside found in TRNA (transport RNA) molecules. It consists of purine (hypoxantine) and saccharin (D-ribose). Inosine produces an inosinriffosphate used in the body, which is used as a source of energy (much like ATF). Inosin is actively involved in the synthesis of ATF (adenosyntriphosphate), the most important energy substrate in the body. Inosin also stimulates the synthesis of 2.3 dipospoglycerate, which is a necessary substance for oxygen transport from erythrocytes to muscle cells. There is evidence that the inosine improves the supply of the coronary blood vessels of the heart, increases the resistance of the heart and skeletal muscle cells to the lack of oxygen and enhances the contraction of the heart muscle.
